Park Facilities
Please keep in mind the following information:
The City of Harlowton's park facilities are open for reservation for various events such as family gatherings, group parties, picnics, and meetings. To make a reservation, you can visit the City Hall to complete a Park Use Agreement.
The park has two pavilions, updated playground equipment, Smoking Boomer Rail Trail access, a fishing site, and seasonal restrooms. Chief Joseph Park is conveniently located next to the Wheatland County Fair Grounds.
For camping:
We do not accept reservations for camping or RV spots. Walk-ins are welcome, with a fee.
- RV spots with electricity are only $20, and no sewer or water hookups are available.
- RV spots without electricity cost $14, and no sewer or water hookups are available.
- Tent spots are priced between $10 and $12.
- Bulk water is available for $0.03 per gallon.

Chief Joseph Park in Harlowton offers RV and tent campsites on a first-come, first-served basis.
