Exploring the Upper Musselshell Museum is like prowling around someone's attic or barn. Be careful thoug, you may run in to a full-size replica of a dinosaur skeleton found in nearby Shawmut or a horse drawn hearse with a special passenger!!
There are also several collections of fossils and bones, a 2000 year old buffalo skull, a Plains Indian exhibit complete with arrowheads, clothing, artifacts, weapons and story boards to explain it all. The top floor is dedicated to the stories of medical history in our area. A cabinet from the operating room(instruments included), wooden wheel chairs, optometrist cupboard, uniforms, satchels, and an examining table are just some of the treasures in this exhibit.
