Payment Options
City of Harlowton offers a variety of convenient payment options for our residents. Simply choose the option that best suits your needs.
Payment By Mail
If paying by check or money order through the mail, please send all payments with your payment coupon. To avoid late fees, please mail your payment at least five to seven business days before the due date specified on your bill.
Payment Drop-Off Location
You may pay your bill in person at our office address. We accept cash, check, money orders, and bank cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express). To avoid longer wait times, please note that City Hall is closed on Wednesdays but you can use the drop box located in the back of the building anytime or at Citizen's Bank and Trust in Harlowton.
Payment by Bank Card (Visa/Mastercard/Discover/American Express)
You may pay your bill on-line at http://govteller.com . click on “Make a Payment” at the top of the screen; select “Montana” and “City of Harlowton” from the drop down options; click on “Take me to the Terminal”; Verify that the next screen says City of Harlowton; To pay water/sewer bill choose Utilities Department; Your utility account number is required – this can be found on your utility bill. It is usually in a xxx-xx format; Follow the remainder of the prompts; Please note there is a convenience fee that will be charged to you for this service. It will be a separate charge on your credit card/debit card statement. When you fill out the prompts it will indicate what your convenience fee will be; Click “submit payment”.

Payment Through Financial Institution Online Bill Pay
Many financial institutions, such as major banks, offer their customers the ability to pay their bills via an online bill payment service (through your bank's website). Normally, these services debit the customer's checking or savings account to pay the bill. Depending on the financial institution, they may or may not charge a fee for the service. Payments may take up to seven business days to post to the customer's account. Please consult with your bank for more information.
